Gifts that Give Back
Over the last several years we’ve worked with several #Kentucky distilleries to create unique experiences for our clients through barrel picks, custom bourbon blends, private tastings and tours, and so much more. Each situation is different, and we do this for both for-profit/private companies as well as non-profit/public companies. We work with each client to assess their needs, their budget, the use/end-goal, and their timeline.
In several cases, these excursions were used to raise funds for a number of local charities, like the #LexingtonDreamFactory . Most recently, we took a group mixed with top donors and prospective corporate clients on an all-day exclusive tour and tasting experience. We started the day picking everyone up in a shuttle, with cocktails to set the tone! We arrived to Maker’s Mark and dined on a multi-course, Chef driven lunch using local ingredients - of course, cocktail pairings were a must! After lunch, we took a tour of the facility, learning the history of the bourbon, the family, and the property. Our tour ended in a private tasting room where experts led our team through an immersive tasting experience where we literally made our own blend of bourbon. Once our blend was complete - we officially “confirmed” our bourbon, sealed our barrel - signed it, of course - and that was that! We ended the day dipping our own bottles in the iconic Maker’s Mark wax.
Once the bourbon was ready, Dream Factory received the bottled bourbon, along with the barrel, a barrel head, and some other swag. We used these products to create silent and live auction items, the bottles were sold at the event, and the experience itself generated donations. Proceeds from all of this went to the Lexington Dream Factory to support their mission and grant even more dreams for chronically and terminally ill children in central Kentucky.
We love including these bourbon blends in our client gifts, as a thank you but also an opportunity to share our passion and commitment to our community, in a unique and meaningful way. Experiences like these could be used for top performers, clients or prospective clients, vendor appreciation, or an exclusive gift opportunity with meaning behind it.
