internships
Interested in the event industry but not sure where to start? Join our internship program and learn the industry first-hand, on a part time basis. Hours and event schedule are flexible based on business and your availability. Pay varies by event and job function.
Our next internship cycle with openings is Spring 2025 - the application window will be open from February 25th - March 15th, with a start date in April. You can apply here, at that time. Early applications or emails will not be saved.
FALL ASSOCIATE
The application window is open for our Fall Associate position. This is a paid position, running from August until November. This is a part-time, hourly position which pays $18/hour (higher pay for some events). Expectations include administrative tasks (pulling quotes, maintaining budget docs, creating timelines and floor plans), client communications (client meetings, site visits, meeting updates, etc.), and on-site event work (setting up, breaking down, managing logistics, etc.).
This is a remote position and all administrative work is done remotely, but you must be located in central Kentucky, Northern Kentucky, or Louisville. Event work is in-person and on-site. Office hours are generally Monday-Friday, 9a-5p - event days/hours vary between daytime and evening, weekday and weekend. Admin hours are typically scheduled 2-3 days a week with event hours outside of that.

Required Qualifications:
Must be a self-starter and able to manage your time efficiently.
Proficient in Microsoft programs and platforms.
Proficient in oral and written communications.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds, and able to sit, stand, push, and pull for multiple hours at a time (event days are long).
Must be 18 years, or older.
Must have your own laptop, internet access, a professional-looking workspace (for client calls), and your own transportation.
Must be available daytime, evening, and weekends. (Schedules are created in advance, but our hours do shift based on the event calendar).
Preferred Qualifications:
These qualifications are preferred, but are not required
Experience using Basecamp, Google Software, Canva, and Zoom
1-3+ years of event management experience
OTHER:
Pay is on the 1st and 15th of each month via ACH or physical check.
Flexible schedules and working hours.
This position is not eligible for benefits however it does include networking opportunities and continuing education.
This position can be used for college class credit.
